As Managing Director, Stephen is responsible for the company's strategy and our key industry relationships. With over 20 years in the Civil Engineering Industry, Steve's extensive experience makes him an invaluable leader of our team.

Phil has over 25 years experience working in the Industry in both the Public and Private sectors and joined STEM in 2018 to assist in the structured expansion of the business. He manages various contracts from tender stage through to construction and handover. Phil's wealth of knowledge is instrumental in ensuring the successful delivery of schemes to both new and repeat clients.

Michaela’s main role is to oversee the purchasing and administrative side of the business to ensure both STEM and our Clients achieves Best Value. She is responsible for finance, purchase and sales ledger, payroll, project costings, policies and procedures, HMRC responsibilities and Fleet/IT management. Michaela's professionalism ensures she keeps the wheels of the busy office turning.

Dianne's vast experience of HSEQ and business processes make her the ideal person to drive the company's processes, compliance and safety to the highest level. She is responsible for developing our on and off site procedures and policies, to ensure we continue to undertake and improve our activities with integrity, maintaining full compliance throughout the company.

Mark has over 30 years’ experience in the Civil Engineering and construction industry. His responsibilities include liaising with internal teams and clients ensuring the correct skill sets are tailored to meet the specific requirements of each individual project. Mark brings a matchless breadth of knowledge and experience to his role.

Nick is responsible for the tendering process through to the commercial management of live projects. His role is to ensure that all contracts run smoothly for both STEM Construction and our valued clients. Nick has over 25 years’ experience in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management as well as holding a BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering.

Mabel is a key member of the STEM Construction team, taking her role very seriously. She ensures that the office team are happy and healthy, checking up on everyone in turn during her regular visits. In addition to her peer support and mental health work, she provides exercise for her colleagues with the help of a small, grey, noisy, stuffed toy puppy.
